Cerasuolo di Vittoria. Cerasuolo di Vittoria is a red wine that represents Sicily's strong and ancient winemaking tradition. This wine combines the power of Nero d'Avola with the delicacy of Frappato, a grape variety mainly widespread in the Denomination area, which is also the first and only Sicilian DOCG. Cerasuolo di Vittoria comes from the Stidda vineyard, located in Chiaramonte Gulfi, at an altitude of 420 meters above sea level. The calcareous-clay soil and the temperate Mediterranean climate contribute to giving the wine unique characteristics. The vineyard, not irrigated, produces a yield limited to no more than 50 quintals per hectare. This wine stands out for its intense color that allows every nuance to be explored in the glass. On the nose, notes of earth and raspberries can be perceived, while on the palate a enveloping taste of dark chocolate is felt.
