
The cured raw ham "Il Poggetto" is a ham with bone made from 100% Italian pork legs, raised in Emilia Romagna and Tuscany. Salting is done by hand and curing - for at least 12 months - takes place in our plant in Poggio a Caiano, Tuscany. Twelve months you can taste in the semi-sweet flavor and in the aroma that comes out with the first slice. It is a ham with no added preservatives: only Italian pork meat, salt and natural flavors. A choice that leaves room for time and the quality of the raw materials. Gluten-free, lactose-free and without milk derivatives. Italian raw ham is best when freshly sliced thinly. Perfect as an appetizer, served with bread and cheeses, or as an ingredient in traditional Italian dishes. The vacuum pack preserves aroma and freshness until slicing.
