
A quick, protein-rich ice cream, no ice cream maker and lactose-free, creamy and delicious. Ideal as a protein snack: frozen banana base (or strawberries for low FODMAP), isolated protein and a sweet swirl.


Blend the frozen banana (or strawberries for the low FODMAP version) with the whey isolate.
Add a little liquid (water or lactose-free milk) a little at a time, until you get a thick soft-serve-style cream.
Swirl the cream with a teaspoon of Marmel-light.
Serve immediately for a soft texture, or place in the freezer for 20 minutes if you prefer a firmer texture.
Blender/food processor suitable for frozen fruit
Airtight container (if storing in the freezer)
Store in the freezer in an airtight container for a maximum of 1-2 days; if fully frozen, let soften for 5-10 minutes before serving.
For a low FODMAP version, use frozen strawberries and slightly increase the amount of water. Adjust the amount of liquid according to the desired creaminess.
