
A simple and quick nugget recipe made with chickpea flour, ideal as an alternative way to add more legumes to the diet. Also perfect for children and available in a gluten-free version using gluten-free breadcrumbs.




In a bowl, combine the chickpea flour and water, mixing until you obtain a smooth batter with no lumps.
Season with salt and add the desired spices to taste.
Shape the nuggets by taking portions of batter and shaping them with your hands or with the help of a spoon.
Coat the nuggets in breadcrumbs to bread them evenly.
Fry the nuggets in hot oil until golden, or bake them at 200°C for about 15-20 minutes, turning them halfway through, until golden and crispy.
Drain on paper towels if fried and serve hot.
